When appropriate, we coordinate timely referral to leading transplant centers and support patients through the transition of care. We continue to provide medical optimization and longitudinal management before and after referral, working in close communication with each patient’s transplant team to ensure continuity and convenience.
We provide long-term post-transplant care for liver transplant recipients in close coordination with each patient’s transplant center. Our focus is comprehensive ongoing management, including medication safety, infection prevention, cardiovascular risk reduction, and weight management. The transplant center manages the immediate post-transplant period, including recovery and immunosuppressive stabilization. As patients stabilize, care may transition to our team for convenient, local follow-up, with continued communication across programs. Telemedicine visits are available for stable patients to support continuity of care and reduce travel.
We offer FibroScan® for non-invasive measurement of liver stiffness and fat content (fibrosis and steatosis). Each study follows standardized protocols for accuracy and is performed by trained staff. Results are explained in clear, patient-friendly language with individualized follow-up recommendations.
On-site ultrasound services include detailed liver and biliary evaluation with Doppler assessment of blood flow. We coordinate directly with radiology partners for advanced studies when needed, ensuring rapid reporting, accurate interpretation, and timely review with your clinician.
Paracentesis and other imaging-guided procedures are coordinated with trusted local partners to ensure timely, safe care. When liver biopsy is needed, we facilitate rapid referral and scheduling with experienced specialists.
Laboratory testing is coordinated through accredited reference laboratories to ensure timely, high-quality results, with on-site services planned as the program expands.
